Little red Velvetines

Ho hohoho - Happy new year all of you lovely readers who have sticked by me! I know I haven´t been really here, but I´ll try to change that right now! Why am I saying happy new year in the beginning of June? Because I actually made this post last christmas :'D Blogger screwed me over and I haven´t been able to upload any pictures here, for months! FINALLY this problem has been settled, so now full throttle into blogging, I promise! ;-)

Firstly we can talk about the new Lime Crime products I ordered (now like 7 months ago..)!

 I waited for a long time to see any swatches of these online, to figure out if I would buy them or not. But NONE, NADA (at that time at least :D)! (Maybe it has something to do with the LC haters.. AND for everyone who reads this - you do NOT have my permission to quote me nor use my photos. You may link my page but I do not want to see everything here ending up like the last time. You know, when my LC post got totally trashed and I had people WHO DO NOT KNOW ME calling me a liar and a empty minded idiot etc. I´m again reviewing these products as I see them myself and yes - I did purchase them myself. As I like to think, if you don´t have anything nice to say - shut the hell up.)

Well on to the purchases. I took a leap of faith and ordered both of these Velvetines. The Red Velvet is obv the darker one. Their texture is same in both of lip...stains? They're not really stains, but you cannot call them lipsticks or glosses either. When applying it feels like putting on melted cream. They´re rather easy put on, but if you mess up, you better clean up quickly! It takes about 20 seconds to try and the result is a pretty matte lip color.

In my use it did fade in couple of hours tho.. Even when I wasn´t eating. It looked like an ombre lip style.It also felt really dry all the time. Nothing that a lip balm cannot fix. I read some reviews where they tought that the product didn´t feel dry, so I´m hoping our Finnish -15 climate had something to do with it.

The package was pretty and shiny...

 ...but why the big package? It almost had me feeling like I would find a bigger tube inside, so opening it was a bit disappointing.

Aha! There were some tips inside. Don´t really know about the 'moisture beforehand' part. I have to try.

Lime Crime - Snowsicle gloss

Then onto the real disappointment. I had maybe too high hopes for this.. If you are in need of a lip exfoliater, use this. I´m not sure, maybe others will like this, but this lip gloss is like sheer blue gloss mixed with cheap glitter - too big glitter particles! It does look pretty and it is easy apply, especially on lipsticks, but the glitter felt so annoying on the lips :D I think LC might have tried too hard here. Maybe it´s just me?

Lime Crime - Poisonberry

This honey instead was a big surprise! Same texture as other awesome LC lipsticks, it´s smooth, moist and opaque color.

Rainbow full of lippies~

 Earlier this week I finally got some unicorn mail! This is already third time I´ve ordered some Lime Crime stuff~ And since I haven´t really shown you these lipsticks before, I´m gonna show you the old and the new ones!

The Lime Crime box came this time packed in a bigger box. So this time no sweating for the lipsticks!

First - LIP NOIR !

Chinchilla

 Chinchilla is a grey-ish lilac with some awesome lavender undertones ! A must for all gray lovers.

Glamour 101

Glamour 101 - quite ordinary and glamorous red lipstick. Reminds me a bit of Inglot´s 229... You can never go wrong with this red!

Styletto

I´ve would never ever thought I could wear BLACK lipstick. But what do you see? It suits even ME. Lip Noir ♥

Airborne Unicorn

How I love the name :D A sweet lilac color, not too dark. I fell in love with this one before I even tried it.

Centrifuchia

 Centrifuchia - a name that says it all. A hint of fuchia in this beautiful color. Something to make a small but a different impression.

No She Didn´t

Haha this has to be the funniest color of Lime Crime :D But It´s my fav color so I had to get it. Doesn´t suit me the best, my doesn´t look the worst ether.

Retrofuturist

Another red one - but a BRIGHT one. If there were a neon color for red, this would be it.

Coquette

A regular nude lipstick, maybe a bit more opaque than others that I´ve tried...

Great Pink Planet

And the best one for the last :3 I lllllllllllove this! An Opaque pink ♥ This one I´ve been using the most already.

Review: Just can´t get enough of Lime Crime

Some unicorn lipsticks

Oh jeah! Lime Crime had a sale on 1st of July for facebook fans :) This time I got four lipsticks, the highly hyped eye primer and four more loose shadows :3

They came in these boxes. All are vegan (not tested on animals) and made in USA. The colors are of course great, but I have to mention that the actual lipsticks are not so good. When I received my package, all of the lipsticks were sweating because of the warm weather! And they are kind of wobbly inside the plastic. They don´t have as high quality as for example MAC or Inglot lipsticks have.

And here is a swatch of the colors I got.

★ Retrofuturist; the red is really POPPING red. I mean it has most vivid red color I have ever seen! Both of the reds are kind of very stainable, aka they stay on your lips even after you remove it with make up remover. Yes it´s great that the color does not wear off during the day but I wouldn´t want it to stay on any longer than a day.

★ Diva; The beige is a little lighter that I anticipated and looks kind of weird on my (just a little) tan skin. But maybe with right makeup I´t look good too.

★ No She Didn´t aka the light blue one I ordered just for fun. Maybe for some party or somethin - definately NOT for a regular work day :D I´ts just as bright on the lips as it is on the swatch.

★ Centrifuchia; Mostly (suprisingly) the pink one that fits me the most o_O Great Fuchia color!

And then for the eye primer! Lime Crime calls their primer "Candy eyed eyeshadow helper". It comes in a cute box like this.

This is the bottom of the jar. Suprisingly small jar for a 17 dollars.

And the jar when opened. Weirdly the stuff inside has cracked? o_O This stuff promises to intensify colors,

prevent creasing and it supposed to be moisture resistant. And was it? Yes it was! I had it on last night and I can tell you it was a real party night :`D I went to three different bars in Helsinki and even survived home after that, and when I woke up today, my make up was still flawless! It hadn´t creased at all! I´ve heard soooo much about this product and now it immediately became my favorite. I recommend to _everyone_!

And then for the lovely Magic Dusts :)

I got (obv) Medusa, Troubadour, Diva and Dragon Scales.

★ Medusa is this dark black with some glitter inside. Sparkle sparkle ★ This goes so well to every dark look, just add a hint of this in the outer corner of you eye ~

★ Troubadour is a vivid light blue with shimmer. I love blues. No more to add.

★ Diva is a mix of gold and beige and shimmer. Great for everyday looks :)

★ Dragon Scales. I can not tell you how much I love this. This kind of changes color depending on light. It is reddish dark brown which has blue and silver tones in it. Sometimes it looks just brown and sometimes it looks really metallic! I took three pictures of the same swatch of this, to show how well it changes (see below). I also took pictures yesterday when I had this on, but I forgot my camera to my friends :D So those pics laterz.

Yesterday I also got like 10 new nail polishes, which I´ll be presenting sometimes soon :3 Now to see the new Potter movie~
